Donate Trusts and foundations Grants from Charitable Trusts and Foundations Grants from generous trusts and foundations enable us to continue providing outstanding care to the Chelsea Pensioners. This support is critical in ensuring that the Royal Hospital Chelsea can continue its historic purpose of providing a home for veterans of the British Army. Support from grant-giving bodies enabled us to build the Margaret Thatcher Infirmary, plant new allotments and build a new Activities Centre to enhance the wellbeing of our veterans and has contributed to the restoration of our important Grade I listed buildings. With further support we will continue to improve our care and facilities, carry out vital maintenance and meet our running costs, so the Chelsea Pensioners can enjoy the best quality of life and this iconic institution can look forward to a safe and bright future. In addition, we offer visits to meet staff so that donors can get a real sense of the services we provide for the Chelsea Pensioners.
